Church is a great way to meet new people and make new friends, so we have plenty of activities that offer social activities where we can just enjoy each other. You don’t have to a member of the church at all to join in these things – many people who come along aren’t.
Tuffley Ladies Fellowship
The Tuffley Ladies Fellowship is open to all ladies whether they attend St. Barnabas Church or not. We usually meet together on the 2nd Thursday afternoon of each month at 2.15pm.
Some of our meetings are held in the Lady Chapel and at other times we meet socially at various homes, enjoy tea together at one of our local garden centres, go on a half day coach outing around various areas of Gloucestershire or have lunch together at a local venue. We pay an annual subscription each year of £5 per person to cover our costs and also enable us to make some charitable donations.

Wednesday Lunch Club
This is an open lunch club, for anyone who would like to enjoy a good, hot meal once a week in the company of old and new friends. It’s a two course meal, with plenty to eat – it’s usually a meat or chicken based first course with lots of veg, and the sort of pudding you wouldn’t dare make for yourself at home!There’s a cup of tea of coffee afterwards, and people stay as long as they like to chat. So in a lovely warm hall, with flowers on the table and a friendly welcome it’s a great way to spend Wednesday lunch time.
